Alexis Gibon

Hello there, my name is Alexis Gibon, a Paris-based graphic design student currently pursuing a Master’s degree at LISAA Design Graphic.

I specialize in branding, packaging, and UI design, with additional experience in motion design and 3D.

As a designer, I always strive to infuse my work with a blend of vintage, colorful, and elegant elements, while maintaining a minimalist approach inspired by Swiss design principles. Typography is always at the core of my creations, I believe it’s a powerful tool for communicating emotion and enhancing visual impact.

CONCEPT
Through Their Eyes is a temporary exhibition that explores how the gaze has shaped art throughout history. From prehistoric cave paintings to contemporary works, the way we see and are seen has always played a key role in artistic expression. Beyond that, our perception has evolved, influenced by time, culture, and artistic movements. The gaze within the works can reveal much about the historical period—whether a time of war, peace, or transformation. It carries emotions, power, and insight into the human experience, serving as a reflection of society’s shifting values and moods.

The exhibition’s identity was designed to reflect this evolution. Just as our way of seeing changes over time, the visual language of the exhibition adapts across various formats, illustrating how we constantly adapt to new perspectives.

At the heart of the exhibition is the eye—both as a subject and a tool for connection. The design emphasizes the role of the gaze in each artwork, guiding viewers to focus on details they might otherwise overlook and to feel the emotions conveyed through these moments frozen in time.
